About

In this modern age of economic uncertainty, our children are left with an unstable future. They have not been led with the same opportunities that we received in our youth. As adults, we have fallen into the trap of a bigger and better, "now" attitude because of those past opportunities. Enabling our children to think that their parents will continue to provide their unending supply of bigger and better, "more right now" with little effort on their part is what we work to change. Little effort on our children's part will not help them earn the rewards they believe they deserve.

Our Roadmap to Sustainability program will bring out the reality of life and encourage imaginative thinking from the limited mind of our children. We believe our program is for every child, but there will be an exceptional few who outshine their peers and show the courage it takes to explore a future they can create for themselves. This is called entrepreneurship. The US Kids Chamber of Commerce is built on this foundation.

Strategy

It is said that approximately 3% of the population actually succeed in bringing their goals and vision to life. Action is the first step toward this process. The Roadmap to Sustainability is that first step. Through this program, this similar percentage of participants will surface and start to understand and conceptualize their visions and goals. They will also get to mingle with like-minded youth from all over the United States. Building relationships and studies from exploring with anonymous peers will eventually help build a team for a business idea or new innovation. We believe it is important to be able to work on a professional level from anywhere on a based online platform.

How do we bring these potential teams together? The Kids of America believes in personal relationships. Once the youth in our program start to network and build friendship online, a certain amount of trust and integrity will encourage idea sharing. As a direct result, the desire for meeting in person and sharing ideas will become a necessity for people who want to share and build their dreams into reality.

This is where the Kids Chamber of Commerce comes in. All participants of the Roadmap to Sustainability program will be assessed on an ongoing basis. These participants who have the desire and courage, the mindset to become entrepreneurs will be invited to join The Kids Chamber of Commerce!

All children in the program have the potential to become a member of this selected group of individuals. They will be given many opportunities to test their will, creativity, and work ethics on projects they hope to accomplish, with team members if they choose. They will also be invited to the annual Kids Chamber of Commerce National Conference. The initial conference will be significantly smaller because of our limited reach to the number of participants from California who will be able to progress through the Roadmap to Sustainability program. Our plan is to open up membership throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico by the end of 2016, and other countries by 2018.

Mission

Our mission is to understand, serve, and provide programming to kids and influencers; adults, parents, teachers, and community leaders, to engage participation in teaching kids about business. From this humble beginning, we can watch our children accomplish great things! The world of commerce is becoming a smaller place because of our ability to instantly connect within a global economy. Soon, your child could carve their niche in that world.

Teaching Kids Business is Relevant

Leadership

Our structured program is create to teach and encourage leadership for individual business platforms or partnered platforms. Communication through the Roadmap to Sustainability and other online sources are just as important as in-person interaction. Our Kids will learn how to communicate effectively from anywhere.
